Product Overview

The JY03B is a high-performance, highly integrated sensorless Brushless DC (BLDC) motor control IC developed by JUYI Tech. Designed to drastically simplify motor drive system layout and minimize external components, the JY03B consolidates a motor control core, MOSFET gate drivers, a 12V regulator, and a 5V LDO regulator into a single, space-saving SSOP-28 chip (excluding the power stage).

By adopting a pure hardware-based architecture, the JY03B requires zero software programming or firmware development. This allows design engineers to achieve rapid deployment, shorten R&D cycles, and significantly reduce overall manufacturing and BOM costs.

The IC incorporates comprehensive closed-loop circuitry, including advanced phase detection, adaptive startup, and multi-level protection arrays, ensuring exceptionally low noise, high driving efficiency, and ultra-stable motor operation across diverse loads.

    • Level-2 (120mV Shutdown Protection): If the current spikes abnormally to 120mV, JY03B triggers an ultra-fast shutdown within 4.5 µs to prevent hardware failure.
  • Intelligent Stall Protection with Auto-Restart: Automatically detects motor lock/stalls. It attempts 10 consecutive safe restarts; if uncompleted, it disables all outputs to protect system components until reset.
  • Soft Direction Switching: Supports real-time Forward/Reverse (ZF pin) transitions. The driver safely decelerates the motor to a full stop before reversing, eliminating reverse voltage spikes and mechanical wear.
  • Precise Speed Monitoring (M Pin Output): Generates one precise pulse signal per motor commutation event, facilitating effortless integration into closed-loop variable-frequency systems.
